Electricians

Marketing for Electricians.

More calls for the electrical work you actually want. We help electrical contractors get consistent enquiries through local SEO, Google Ads and CRO.

The Challenge

Busy one month, quiet the next.

Most electrical contractors get plenty of work through word of mouth, builders and repeat customers. Problems start when that slows down and there's no steady source of new enquiries to fill the gaps.

Lead platforms help, but each job is shared with up to three other businesses. When customers search Google for an electrician, the businesses that show up first get the call.

The problem with most digital marketing for electricians

Most agencies market an electrician the same way they'd market a café. They miss the difference between a fault call and a switchboard upgrade, and why licence details matter to customers. That's where budgets get wasted.

Buyer Search Behaviour

How electrical customers search.

Electrical searches fall into two groups. Someone with the power out searches "emergency electrician near me" and calls one of the first businesses they see. Someone planning a switchboard upgrade, EV charger or home battery reads, compares quotes and decides over days or weeks.

Most searches include a suburb or "near me", because customers want someone local. Builders, strata managers and commercial clients search differently again, looking for licensed electrical contractors who can handle larger jobs and ongoing maintenance.

Industry Insight

What's shaping electrical work right now.

Queensland's smoke alarm deadline

By 1 January 2027, every Queensland home needs interconnected photoelectric smoke alarms, and hardwired alarms must be installed by a licensed electrician. Reporting in May 2026 suggested more than a million homes might not comply in time.

Battery rebate step-downs

The federal Cheaper Home Batteries rebate reduces on 1 January 2027 and every six months after that until 2030. Each step-down brings demand forward, and many battery jobs need a switchboard upgrade first.

No Local Services Ads in Australia

Google's Local Services Ads and verified badge aren't offered in Australia, so a strong Google Business Profile and well-run Search ads remain the main ways to show up first.

We plan your marketing around changes like these, so you're visible when demand picks up.

Google Ads can bring in calls within the first week or two. Google Maps improvements usually take a few weeks to a couple of months, and SEO typically takes three to six months to build. These are typical timeframes, not guarantees.

Yes. Most websites can be improved rather than rebuilt. The free audit will show which applies to yours, and if a rebuild is the better option, we'll explain why.

Not straight away. Keep it running while your own enquiries build, then compare the cost per job once tracking is in place. Some businesses keep a lead platform as a top-up, others drop it once their own enquiries are steady.
